Independent Living

Some people think that because you are blind, you cant do much. Not all people think this, but most people dont realise how much people who are blind are able to do, like using computers, playing sports and catching trains and buses.

So we feel that we should explain to you how we go about things, even though we are blind or have a vision impairment. The "we" in this instance is Gemma, a high school student who is legally blind, Connie, a high school student who has a vision impairment, Graham, a primary school kid who is totally blind, and Erik, a high school student with a vision impairment. Oh and my mum, Pam, who is legally blind, helped a lot too!
