Windows and Microsoft Office Self-Paced Course Kits

Frustrated at the lack of training materials available that can be used by blind and vision impaired people? Unable to afford the cost of one-to-one training? Then READ ON, because we have the answer!

The Association for The Blind of Western Australia has produced self-paced training course materials for many commonly used computer software packages. These kits are designed specifically for use by blind and vision impaired people and teach with keyboard shortcuts instead of the mouse.

Our comprehensive training notes are designed to allow students to learn the software at their own pace, with minimal assistance from a sighted instructor, and using any adaptive software or hardware. They are available in print, large print, audiotape and braille, and include exercises and examples on computer disk.

Our Course Materials have been Accredited with the Australian National Training Authority and are Nationally Recognised Training Courses.

They can, be delivered as ANTA Accredited Training Courses within Australia by Registered Providers.

Our courses are currently in use by both training organisations and vision impaired individuals in all states of Australia, and in New Zealand, Singapore and the USA.
